Take part in a study about logic puzzles and language

Hello all,

I'm a student at UCL and am looking to recruit some participants for a study I am running as part of my Masters degree.

We are interested in how people use language to solve logical problems, and need some healthy people over 40 who enjoy logic puzzles to come to the lab in Bloomsbury in Central London, for an hour or so, over the next couple of months.

The testing involves solving some logical reasoning without language and should be fun for anyone who enjoys sudokus and similar puzzles etc. We are also able to reimburse people for out-of-pocket expenses.

Sounds interesting, but I don’t hit the over 40 criterion. Think there might be a few in the London area where who might be interested though

Hi. I'm just back from attending a session with Paris - I do satisfy the 40+ criterion ... by a decent margin! It was an interesting way to spend an hour or so and I look forward to hearing the results of this worthwhile study in due course. It was pretty straightforward and didn't involve any significant puzzling, but there were definitely some challenging aspects. If you're 40+ and often in London anyway, please consider contacting Paris. The venue is only a few minutes away from Kings Cross / St Pancras. I certainly wouldn't suggest making a special trip from outside the London area, but it would be good if you're relatively local and able to tweak your schedule to take part in her study.
