UK WSC Team is selected!

Now that the final round is complete, I can announce, on Alan’s behalf, the results of the Sudoku Ratings.

The ‘League Champion’ is David McNeill, congratulations to him. As David has already qualified for the team, Michael Collins and David Collison are therefore also selected for the UK team for the 2011 World Sudoku Championship to be held in Hungary this November. Congratulations to them as well.

The 4 players selected for the UK WSC team are therefore:
Tom Collyer,
David McNeill,
Michael Collins
David Collison.

It was actually a very close run thing in the end for the last team place, and Gareth Moore, Mike Colloby, Roderick Grafton, Nick Deller and Liane Robinson all came extremely close.

Please note that the final ratings were calculated on the following basis:
- The final score of each player is the average of their best 3 average scores
- Players only qualify for selection if they have completed at least 3 contests

Many thanks for the great news and a big thank you to all involved in organising the qualifying rounds. PLease let me know when I need to sort out any of the administrative side of things for WSC.
