Italian Sudoku Championship

Hi,
The Italian Sudoku Championship will be taking place in November and they are looking for an author who'd be able to help out with the following. If you would like to help them, please comment and we can pass your details on.

"What we miss that it’s traditionally done here, is an introductory quick (usually 25-35 minutes) round of smaller sudokus somehow interconnected (samurais of different variants, or 6x6 connected through some rule on corresponding/adjacent cells, something like that).

I’m wondering whether anyone within the authors community would be able to help us with this? Obviously after the WSPC. "

Time to start planning again, it will be held after the WSPC as the distance means there is no real need for a national selection.

Anyone who would like to contribute, either:
- as an author to the first quick round, as below;
- any variant to the variants round;
- as a test solver
