Firstly I am trying to test it, but failing to get the applet pages to load on my computer. e.g. http://www.hausigel.de/rdt/rdtdemo.html
Although they have previously worked for me, and are currently working for Roland.
So I'm trying to narrow down which end the problem is at, if anyone has a spare minute please click that link and report here if it is working for you?

Works fine in Firefox; empty page in Safari.

Thanks Thomas, that's what I needed. I had got nowhere with IE and Chrome, but confirm that Firefox works.

I rarely use any other browser but Firexox, but I visited a java applet forum and was led to believe that it should work on other browsers, too. Very sorry about the inconvenience!
