The UKPA are looking forward to hosting the on site Puzzle and Sudoku Tournaments at ARK King Solomon Academy, Penfold Street, London, NW1 6RX.
The Puzzle event will take place on Saturday 7th March and the Sudoku event will take place on Sunday 8th March.
Please be aware that the order of the events has been swapped from the previous order with now the Puzzle event before the Sudoku event.
For those who wish to take part in both events there are a number of options for hotels in the London area. There is a Premier Inn at Paddington Basin about 1/3 mile from the venue.
Both events will consist of 5 rounds of approximately 45 mins each, starting at 10 am, followed by a fun team round to allow the final round to be marked before the awards ceremony. Each day should be finished by 5 pm.
The cost for a single event is £45 or if you would like to take part in both then the total cost is £85.
Please drop me a line at liane@ukpuzzles.org if you would like to register to attend. Alternatively you can complete this short registration form: https://forms.gle/t5d5dRXC2mNcPrvr7

Congratulations to our prize winners from the Open Sudoku and Puzzle Tournaments this last weekend in London.
A huge thanks to our wonderful setters from around the world, the puzzle testers and the volunteers to help with the marking without whom we wouldn’t be able to host such an event.
Once again it was a truly international event with our furthest participant travelling over 3000 miles from Canada.
The results of the Sudoku Event are:
1st Vincent Betrand
2nd Freddie Hand
3rd Calum Mailer
Most Improved: Eva Myers
Freddie Hand and Calum Mailer were the top UK competitors earning their place on the UK A team for the World Sudoku Championships this year.
The results of the Puzzle Event are:
1st Freddie Hand
2nd Valentin Miakinen
3rd Neil Zussman
Most Improved: Matthew White
Freddie and Neil have earned their place on the UK A team for the World Puzzle Championships this year.
