reasonably happy about my 178 but kicking myself for a tiny mistake on the masyu crossword which costed me 30 further points. When will I learn.

In spite of the fact that Tom was not among the authors, the quality of the puzzles was excellent. Much harder than last year but why not. it's a marathon, you expect to have to struggle for some time.

is there a mistake in the example?
the letters B and C on the top right corner should be part of the same tile, otherwise the solution given is not obtained according tot he rule which specifies that every tile must contain either two letters or two black cells

I am under the impression that the championship has taken place while the site was down (at least for me). The contest was open only at 12.00 Polish time Yesterday
the championship file can still be downloaded ant the site announces the Sudoku qualification for next weekend.
