Results of 2022 UK Puzzle Championship

Congratulations to Freddie Hand who has won the UK Puzzle Championship for the first time, completing the double along his recent success at the UK Sudoku Championship. Freddie solved all of the 23 puzzles correctly with over 35 minutes to spare, a fantastic performance. It was a close run thing between the two previous UKPC winners with James McGowan and Neil Zussman both completing 23 puzzles correctly with James coming out on top. The UK podium is thus:

The championship was also open to international participation with a total of 3 participants submitting correct answers to all 23 puzzles within the 2 ½ hour limit and a further 7 submitting correct answers to 22 puzzles. Walker Anderson (USA) has taken victory with an amazing time of under 1 hour 35 minutes with Rob Vollmert (Germany) taking 2nd place around 1 ½ minutes faster than Freddie who took third place. The international podium is thus:
