2012 Advent puzzle contests

Post by PuzzleScot » Thu 08 Dec, 2011 12:49 am

Loose definition of 'competition'...

Croco-puzzle are running a daily advent mystery puzzle.

Dave Millar's 'Griddle' has a nice Sudoku-themed puzzle
(You must print off the main grid, then every day fill in a specific 6x6 area with that day's clues)

Had to Play On run an annual advent 'puzzle' contest. (loose definition of 'puzzle' - more language-based than we're used to)

Any others, post here...

Zoltan, these were a very nice little set of puzzles. Thank-you!

I'd never seen "Double-back loop" before, and was astonished to find a unique solution in the end. The Tapa with no numerical clues was cool too!

Seven down, one to go. Very nice - although I'm taking a break before starting the last one afresh.

(and I have just noticed the extra constraint that should make it easier to solve...)
