Information and discussion on Puzzle Competitions

The Cambridge University Computing and Technology Society are holding a puzzle hunt in Cambridge, for 24 hours or so, starting at 4pm on Friday 12th June. It's to be played by teams of three, with a focus on the university community but welcome to those outside it. (Teams should have at least one .cam.ac.uk solver, but matches can surely be made.) It looks as hardcore as anything I've yet seen in this country; the web site has all the details, including links to previous years' puzzles. There's surely crossover between those who might participate at the highest level of puzzle hunts and those who might have the ability and interest in at least attempting to qualify to represent their country internationally.
I'm busy in Cambridge on the Saturday, but if anyone's coming and wants to meet up afterwards, do say.
