Forum time zone

Post by PuzzleScot » Tue 06 Nov, 2012 11:13 pm

Hi,

Not a puzzle as such, but there's nowhere obvious to put this...

In the top-left corner of the forum index page (http://forum.ukpuzzles.org/index.php), it shows the current date/time.
If the time appears wrong, it is likely because your time zone, or daylight savings settings need to be changed.
Unfortunately, phpBB is not clever enough to adjust your settings for DST changes - you have to do it yourself.

Therefore, if you have switched timezones, or daylight savings have come into effect, you should update your settings in your account: http://forum.ukpuzzles.org/ucp.php?i=173
eg, for UK with the clocks having gone back recently, set Summertime/DST is in effect to No, and hit apply.
You'll need to change this setting on the last Sunday of March and October every year.
