Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

I'd like to request my match be sudden death as I won't have any internet access for extra time on Saturday. I think I'm going to depend on the right puzzle types coming up. For example, on Tuesday I beat the whole ladder at Masyu then lost to everyone on the Arukone. Though it probably didn't help ...

Another vote for geometric mean here. It certainly feels fairer to me,

Doh! Completely forgot about operator precedence on the Flash Cards and somehow managed to miss the smallest square size entirely on Square Count. Looks like 110 for me.

Still at least I actually managed to show up on time unlike the Nikoli Puzzle Championship which I thought was at 2PM :x

Re: Japanese Puzzle Land — LMI Puzzle Test — 20th and 21st A

If I hadn't botched the answer key in the small Mochikoro I could of been 3rd in the UK. Well I did luck out with some last minute inspired guessing to solve the big Yajilin+ so I can't really complain. I'm not big on variants but that's one I'd really like to see catch on.

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

I'd like to put my name onto the waiting list. As today's the first time I've done a croco-puzzle it should at least give someone an easy pass from relegation :)

Hi All, I'm a programmer living near Oxford who got addicted to nikoli.com about a year ago after discovering Slitherlink. My favourite puzzle is Yajilin but I like almost all the others except Kakuro. I've just found the wider world of competitive puzzling; the Japanese Puzzle Land test at LMI bein...
