Re: [LMI] Puzzle Marathon - 1st to 10th March

I did a few - took a while to get the Skyscrapers to work - but not enough time to attempt it seriously though... Great competition

Re: Team UK at the WPC

Given that I don't think I've ever beaten David or Steve in anything, just think where we could have been if we'd had either or both of them! Nice of you to say that, Emma, but it's worth pointing out that I think I've underperformed every time I've been at a WPC... No guarantees at an event like t...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Thanks from me too, Chris. Was nice to regain the crown at the last attempt (and am therefore the champion for eternity) but it's worth pointing out that Tom must have notched up by far the most weeks at the top.

Right, time for the league...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

3 sudoku in the week so far is certainly giving me a comfortable ride! And a heyawake, which arguably is better for you than sudoku. Only Skyscrapers so far this week was my "kind of thing" and I ballsed that up. So at 6-0 (can't be bothered with a long vergleichssudoku), I think you've got this one

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Sorry, Tom, but not enough hours in the day today. Going to have to concede the match - a shame, as it's been v close so far. Too bad - I didn't have a great week this week, and I think in all likelihood you'd have got me on Friday's puzzles. I've had quite a streak at top of the ladder, but it has...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Sorry detuned, I wasn't at the races at all last week, and even forgot :!: to do the puzzles on the Monday because I was engrossed in other things. A bye request - I'll be off on Friday and possibly Thursday of next week so I'll need a bye for those. It might help that if a tie-break is necessary, ...

Re: Croco-Liga team competition, starting in September 2012

Anyone want to make a stab at deciphering the Tabellen page? Is it currently full of a whole season of test data rather than the three (?) test matches that happened? And where do the RatselPunkte numbers come from? I presume this is made-up data, as I don't recall playing Team Japan as the Speiltag...

Re: Croco-Liga team competition, starting in September 2012

I'm missing something, as clearly are others. Where exactly are the puzzles we are meant to solve? (and when?) (Post URLs directly please) Looking at http://www.croco-puzzle.com/Liga/spieltag.php, it appears Northern UK (for example) have lost a match (or 2) by not participating. eg. http://www.cro...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Congratulations to drsteve. That was pretty close. The puzzle types helped me: my statistics show my top five are Arukone, Sternenhimmel, Koralle, Slalom and Schlange. I would have been beaten more soundly without that I think. Really thought you had me after messing up the Zeltlager - one of my be...

Wow, just solved the Arukone and gotta say it's defo the easiest puzzle I've solved so far on CrocoPuzzle. Kinda expected sth more difficult, so didn't really go for it at full speed but still beat drsteve  Admittedly he has a Felversuch though, otherwise I wouldn't have had a chance. EDIT...

Oh wow, I had no idea things were so close - and when I did I thought that badly messing up the snake combined with Steve's great time on the sksycrapers had me finished.
