Re: 1st UK Puzzlers Convention. Sat 19 Feb 2011

Chris Really hope you can find a way to get there as it has been a long time since we last met, and I haven't been able to congratulate you on your married status yet. I just booked my ticket for a whole £21! OK - I arrive an hour too early and leave a couple of hours later (dinner anyone?) than I w...

Re: 20/10 Decathlon

I really enjoyed that. 570 points for 18 puzzles completed and submitted - no errors - Yes - but there was a lot of data requested (although it is the same for everyone). Just completing the third Tom-Tom - although should have done that in the time and not dallied on a few others.

Re: Indian Puzzle Championship

Enjoyed that - especially as it was straight after my birthday party (hic!). Happy with my performance, except that I took three attempts at LMI fill, then typed in Brown instead of Drown losing 80 points (cunning use of Gzu not Guh sound in LoGic / Green) - Gareth that may explain your puzzlement, ...

Re: Indian Puzzle Championship

Guys Firstly many congratulations to those that made the team for the WPC - and why not aim for a top 10 finish! I did the qualifier in a hotel in the depths of Poland (where I was spending the whole month - hence didn't join in postmortems). It was a disaster, from the printer not working (I had ch...
