Clarification on Puzzle Round 1 - Minesweeper Puzzles - The sentence "Also, an even number of mines must be placed in each row and in each column." should be deleted as it is not applicable.

Re: UKPA Open Sudoku and Puzzle Tournament 2017

There is likely to be an extra puzzle round so the finish time of the tournament may be slightly later than originally planned. I will publish updated information once confirmed.

Re: 2017 Puzzle GP

Nope, the appeal was unsuccessful. Rather harsh, I thought - spend the time solving the puzzle correctly (as is clear from entering one correct row and then choosing the wrong row to enter) only to be told that entering the correct answer key is part of solving the puzzle. When it is clear that the...

Re: UK Puzzle Championship 2016/WPC Qualification

Minor clarification on the answer key for puzzle 16.
The wording of the answer key should be "Enter the unit digit of the length of the longest continuous block of shaded cells in each row. If no shaded cells in a row enter 0 for that row."
This wording will be in the competition puzzle booklet.

Or are we leaving qns until we're on site? a) - It will be enough to mark the loop. b) - It is a single edge of a single cell so yo...
