Re: Slalom (aka Gokigen)

Others are not clear at all :? And I've no idea what those 3 images are about. I'm not here on the forum to solve puzzles but to learn how to solve and to solve I go to CrocoPuzzle! Sorry about that. There's a limit to how much can be expressed with words, and I'm not the best at it, especially not...

Re: Slalom (aka Gokigen)

Here are pictures for three of the mentioned more advanced techniques that are the least understandable from my descriptions. See if you can figure out what's forced in each, and which of the verbal descriptions they match. slalom-1.png slalom-2.png slalom-3.png I over-complicated the examples a bit...

Re: Slalom (aka Gokigen)

You're all very welcome... I just hope this doesn't kill my rating in Slalom, although now is not a bad time since I already dropped many perfect results away from the record 2988 by losing by 2 seconds to Kosi (pretty much the one other very good slalomist in Croco-Puzzle, no offence to anyone) in ...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Well, I'm sorry I ruined your possibly good result in the highscore table :( Anyway, for me it was really tough and I never got it solved, so I would love some tips on how to solve slaloms better. I tried to use those in the rules & tips board under slalom tips but they helped me to get just less t...

Re: Slalom (aka Gokigen)

I thought it would be a good idea to write a bit about the deductions for Croco-Puzzle's only puzzle type in which I have consistent top results and with which many seem to struggle. It has taken me a huge number of computer-generated puzzles to get where I am, and I still remember how hard it was t...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

If a current puzzle is revealed in any way, on any public forum, no matter how briefly, that might help anyone else, the puzzle is scrapped, and the results wiped (quite rightly). Don't do it again. I'm sorry to have my first post be a negative one, but this practice totally irks me. It does rather...
